High-Quality Imaging Services
IntelliRad’s specialty trained doctors—known as radiologists—use advanced imaging technologies to accurately diagnose disease and/or guide minimally invasive treatment. To learn more about the tests and treatments we offer, including preparation instructions, click on one of the categories below.
Diagnostic Imaging
At the core of what we do is a full range of imaging technologies and expert interpretation to assist your doctor in achieving an accurate diagnosis of your condition. CT, MRI, PET/CT, x-ray, and ultrasound are imaging technologies designed to see inside the human body to evaluate disease, pain, broken bones, organ function, and much more.
Women’s Imaging
Certain imaging tests and procedures are unique to women. These include mammography, breast MRI, breast ultrasound, and breast biopsy. We offer women the most advanced 3D screening mammography (breast tomosynthesis) along with diagnostic testing options for women of all risk categories.
Interventional Radiology (IR)
This exciting and growing field of medicine uses imaging to guide treatment from inside the body. Today, conditions that once required open surgery can be treated in less time, with less risk and no hospital stay required. IR treatments are now available for nearly every organ system in the human body. Some examples of IR procedures include kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, Y90 cancer treatment, cyst ablations, and biopsies of nearly every organ (kidney, bone marrow, lung, thyroid, etc).
NeuroInterventional Surgery
A neurointerventional surgeon is an interventional radiologist that has undergone additional subspecialty (fellowship) training in the clinical and technical factors unique to stroke patients. They specialize in minimally invasive imaging-guided techniques to diagnose and treat conditions of the head, neck, and spine. In addition to stroke, these doctors treat cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), head and neck tumors, and more. Less than 1% of interventional radiologists are neurointerventional surgeons.
