IntelliRad Attends the Florida Radiological Society & Florida RBMA Annual Meeting 2025
The IntelliRad Imaging team attended the 2025 Annual Meeting hosted by the Florida Radiological Society (FRS) & Florida Radiology Business Management Association (Florida RBMA) at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort from July 11th to July 13th.
The Florida RBMA Annual Meeting featured a welcome reception, poster presentation by medical students and radiology residents, educational sessions, a job fair, and an awards banquet.
The IntelliRad team attended the job fair with Christina Negron, business office manager; Janene Markuske, Executive Director; Dr. James Banks; and Dr. Irene Hotalen, who hosted a recruitment table.
The team spoke with about 30 residents from radiology residency programs across Florida, including Mayo Clinic, the University of Florida in Gainesville, the University of Miami, and Intellirad’s residency program at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital. Many were first and second-year residents exploring what employers across the state have to offer.
Dr. James Banks was also recognized at the Annual Meeting with the 20th Annual Douglas N. Hornsby, M.D., Leadership Award for Outstanding Leadership and Support of the Resident and Fellow Section. A recap of the award is available on the FRS/FRBMA website.
