Welcome to Our Team: Geoffrey Lindblad, MD

IntelliRad Imaging is proud to welcome Dr. Geoffrey Lindblad, MD, to our team of physicians serving patients across South Florida.

Dr. Lindblad earned his B.S. in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida before attending medical school at Nova Southeastern University. He completed his transitional year internship and diagnostic radiology residency (ESIR) at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital — giving him deep familiarity with the very hospital network IntelliRad proudly serves.

From there, Dr. Lindblad pursued advanced subspecialty training with an interventional radiology fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medicine, two of the most respected names in academic medicine.

Areas of Focus

Dr. Lindblad is board eligible and brings specialized expertise in a range of interventional procedures, including:

• DVT thrombectomy
• Venous reconstruction
• Pulmonary thrombectomy
• Uterine artery fibroid embolization
• Biliary interventions

He is an active member of the American College of Radiology (ACR), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), and the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).

Dr. Lindblad, who is fluent in Spanish, points to the collegial atmosphere and great staff as what he enjoys most about working with IntelliRad and the HCA facilities the team supports — a fitting fit for a practice built on teamwork and coordinated patient care.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Lindblad enjoys golf, skiing, and spending time with his family and friends.
