Welcome to Our Team: Laura Rodríguez, APRN

IntelliRad Imaging is delighted to welcome Laura Rodríguez, APRN, to our team of clinicians serving patients across South Florida.

Laura earned her bachelor’s degree from Barry University before completing her master’s degree as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP). Her career has taken her through some of healthcare’s most demanding settings, with hands-on experience in cardiac care, the emergency room, and interventional radiology.

Areas of Focus

Laura is board-certified through AACN as an ACNPC-AG, and her clinical interests include:

• Cerebrovascular disease
• Thrombectomy-related care
• Angiography
• Peri-procedural management of complex patients

In her own words, she enjoys working in multidisciplinary settings and supporting patients through evaluation, procedure, and recovery.

Getting to Know Laura

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Laura brings a collaborative, patient-centered mindset to the IntelliRad team. She shared that what she enjoys most about working with IntelliRad and the HCA facilities the team supports is the team environment and the chance to be involved in high-acuity, procedure-based care — a setting where she can keep learning and build confidence alongside experienced physicians.

Outside of work, Laura stays active through running and fitness, enjoys exploring nature, and values quality time with family and friends. She’s also a lifelong learner, especially when it comes to healthcare and personal growth.
