Welcome to Our Team: Renzo Alderete, APRN

IntelliRad Imaging is excited to welcome Renzo Alderete, APRN, to our team of clinicians serving patients across South Florida.

Renzo Alderete earned his bachelor’s degree from Miami-Dade College before completing his Master’s in Adult Gerontology Acute Care at the University of Miami. He went on to earn his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), also from the University of Miami.

His clinical background is rooted in high-acuity care, with experience in critical care and cardiothoracic surgery — experience that gives him a steady, detail-oriented approach to patient care.

Areas of Focus

Renzo is board-certified through the ANCC as an AGACNP-BC, and his clinical interests include:

• Critical care
• Neuroscience
• Trauma

Beyond his clinical work, Renzo serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Miami School of Nursing and Health Studies, helping train the next generation of nurse practitioners.

Getting to Know Renzo

Fluent in Spanish, Renzo brings both clinical rigor and a collaborative spirit to the IntelliRad team. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, running, and spending time with family and friends.
